He's Emmanuel - The Wilds (Lyrics)

Who is this baby lying asleep where cattle feed
Who is this babe that merits not a bed?
Yet angel choirs proclaim the glory of His name
And wise men by a star to Him are led?

He’s Emmanuel,
The God of all the ages clothed in human flesh
To die in sinners’ stead.
Though He was God yet He was pleased to live on earth with men.
But why these swaddling clothes, this cattle stall,
And why this manger bed?

Who is this weary man sitting down upon a well
Too busy with the souls of men to eat?
Who is this man that’s sleeping in tempest-driven boat
Until aroused it’s glory to defeat?

He’s Emmanuel,
The God of all the ages clothed in human flesh
Salvation to complete.
Though He was God yet He was pleased to live on earth with men.
But why no palaces, no pillow soft,
And why these weary feet?

Who is this man they’re mocking with thorns upon His brow?
Who is this one deserves such cruelty?
Who is this man suspended on yonder rugged cross,
The object of such shame and blasphemy?

He’s Emmanuel,
The God of all the ages clothed in human flesh
To bleed and die for me.
Though He was God yet He was pleased to live on earth with men,
But why these cruel nails, this mocking crowd,
And why this rugged tree?

He’s Emmanuel.

I'll Be Gone, Gone, Gone - Lyrics The John Marshall Family

As I ever watch and pray for the dawning of the day
I'll be going to a land so bright and fair
All my loved-ones I will see at a glorious jubilee
And they're waiting till I get there

CHORUS:
Before long I'll be going home
Any moment, I'm gonna leave the ground
I'll be gone, gone, gone
I'll be gone, gone, gone
Going home when the trumpet sounds

I'll be longing deep within for my Saviour to the sin
I'll be going up to meet Him in the air
And forever I will be walking by the crystal sea
And in Heav'n with my Saviour there

CHORUS:
Before long I'll be going home
Any moment, I'm gonna leave the ground
I'll be gone, gone, gone
I'll be gone, gone, gone
Going home when the trumpet sounds

CHORUS:
Before long I'll be going home
Any moment, I'm gonna leave the ground
I'll be gone, gone, gone
I'll be gone, gone, gone
Going home when the trumpet sounds
Going home when the trumpet sounds

How Will They Hear Lyrics

How Will They Hear?
by Jay Goldsborough

Verse 1: Darkness overshadows the little village of his birth
His family all asleep, he lies alone.
Gazing up toward heaven, a little tear falls to the earth
And he wonders if his sorrows are known
His body racked with pain from his father's disdain,
He lifts his hand and whispers in the night, "If there's a God up above,
Please send me someone in love to comfort me and show me what is right."

Verse 2: His brow was creased and wrinkled, his hands were calloused and hard;
His hair was gray, his body stooped with age.
          But his eye possessed a twinkle, and his gaze shot through my heart;
His voice was strong, he looked at me and said,
"The harvest fields are white, and I have labored all my life.
Now who will go and stand in my place? The people there must hear
That Jesus Christ is near. Step forward now, the work of God embrace."

Chorus:  How will they hear? How will they know?
How will they ever find the truth if we don't go?"
How can we fear God's love to show?
Jesus desires every child His love to know.

Bridge:  And all around the world in every tongue, to every nation, tribe and clan,
The Gospel must be preached to every man.
So who will go and light the way that leads lost souls to Christ?
Who will go and lay down his life?

REPEAT CHORUS

Jesus desires every child His love to know. How will they hear if we don't go?

Reserved (I've Been Reserved)

In this world I am a stranger
Just don't fit in
Don't do all the things that they do
But in Heaven I am favored
By the One who set me free
He says peculiar is what I should be

Not with a number will Jesus find me
But walking with Him is what I choose
Should I not serve Him
When He redeemed me
I've been reserved for
My Master's use

People ask me why the usual
Brings no joy to my heart
Can't see the me they used to see
Then I stand up and I tell them
Different blood flows within
My joy comes strictly from living for Him

Not with a number will Jesus find me
But walking with Him is what I choose
Should I not serve Him
When He redeemed me
I've been reserved for
My Master's use
I've been reserved for
My Master's use!
