The Rich Man and Lazarus - Luke 16:19-31 (after death is judgement)

How to be Saved:

Ask yourself, if you are to die today, are you sure you are going to heaven?  

1. We are all sinners. Romans 3:23                                                     
2. God's penalty for sin is death (eternal death in hell.) God Loves us but not our sins. Romans 6:23/ Revelation 20:14-15                                              
3. Jesus paid the penalty of our sins by shedding His blood when he died on the Cross. Hebrews 9:22/ Colossians  1:14       
4. If you are to repent and call upon the name of the Lord, thou shalt be saved. Repentance is included in the great remission. Luke 13:3
5. Jesus is the Gift of God. Salvation cannot be acquired through good works. Ephesians 2:8-9 
6. Those who accept and receive Jesus are given the power to become the sons of God. John 1:12. Those who reject, are with their father the devil. John 8:44
7. Accept Jesus Christ with your heart and with your mouth (through prayer, repent). Romans 10:9-10. Sinner's prayer.
8. After the sinner's prayer and acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ, if you truly and heartily accepted Christ as your Savior, your salvation cannot be taken away from you. Romans 10:13/ Ephesians 1:13-14, after you accept, you are Sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise.
9. You are now in Christ, therefore you are a new creature. There's no need to do those wicked things (sins) you've done in the past. 2 Corinthians 5:17
10. Colossians 2:6 "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him"
